Md. Anisur Rahman Zuel is a coordinator, Pro-bono services of Law Lab. He completed his BSS (Hon’s) and MSS Degrees from the University of Dhaka. Previously he passed secondary and higher secondary from Tangail. His working career started in 2023 under the supervision of Mr. Mohammad Shishir Manir at Law Lab.

He was involved with the research in several Pro-bono services. Some notable documentation and works are-

o   Crimes of Law Enforcement Agencies (2001-2024)

o   Attack on Minorities (2001-2024)

o   July Uprising in 2024

o   Harassment of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)

o   Prepared quarterly and annual Human Rights Reports in 2023.

He conducted extensive research and written articles in many issues i.e. Death sentence execution in the world; its origin and consequences, ‘What prevent us from stopping infiltration of Drugs?’, Flood in Sylhet; Reason, Consequences and Recommendations to prevent it, Unfinished Business: The Struggle for True Democracy in Bangladesh, Which Path Should Be Taken for Constitutional Change?, Custodial Death, Extra-judicial killing by LEAs, Attack on Journalists, False and politically motivated cases against innocent people, Political Torture against opposition.

He visited many historical places, administrative offices and the Supreme Court of Maldives and Sri Lanka. He is fortunate enough to have thoughtful advice and instruction from veteran criminal lawyer Mr. Mohammad Shishir Manir.
