The State or the Complainant may file appeal against the Judgment and Order of acquittal before the High Court Division. However, the scope of this appeal is very limited.

   The Appellant filed appeal challenging the judgment of acquittal. The High Court Division admitted the appeal. Now it is pending for hearing.
