Bail in Pending Appeal

A convict-accused may seek bail in pending Criminal Appeal. The Court may allow his application for bail.

  1. Faruk Ahammed versus State, Criminal Appeal No. 1585 of 2019

    (The Appellant was convicted to imprisonment for life. He preferred appeal against the judgment of conviction and sentence. He also filed an application for bail during pendency of appeal. The Court allowed application for bail.)

  2. Md. Ferdous Ahmed and others, Criminal Appeal No. 1198 of 2019

    (Three appellants were convicted under section 302 of the Penal Code, 1860 and sentenced to imprisonment for life. On the prayer of the Appellants, the High Court Division enlarged them on bail till disposal of the appeal.)
