On behalf the Appellant, Trial Court awarded imprisonment for a period of 14 (fourteen) years. High Court Division acquitted him of the charge, the case is based on inter caste marriage. News Link

The Petitioners filed this writ petitioner seeking actions against Razarbag Peer and his cohorts for harassing them filing a number of false criminal cases. The matter is in the seisin of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

The Accused-Petitioners were innocent and poor farmer. They were falsely implicated in a criminal case. Law Lab rendered free legal service to them in securing bail from the High Court Division.
Most. Kulsum @ Sumi versus the State, Criminal Appeal 4293 of 2019, News Link
In this case, the Appellant Kulsum was convicted under 302 of the Penal Code for the charge of Murder. She had been in jail custody in trial stage. After the judgment, another woman named Minu Akhter, a poor and unfortunate woman, was sent to jail instead of real convict Kulsum. When the matter published in the newspaper, the Head of Chambers, Law Lab brought this matter to the notice of the High Court Division. The Court granted Minu Akter bail and directed police to arrest the real convict Kulsum. Accordingly, Minu was released and the real convict was sent to jail. Subsequently, the Minu died by accident. The matter is pending for hearing in the Court.

Two minor of Apara Upazilla, Netrokona were sent to jail by the Mobile Court for engaging in child marriage. Head of Chambers, Law Lab brought this matter to the High Court Division by sending letters to the Justices. The Court was pleased to grant them bail instantly and asked the Executive Magistrate, Mobile Court for explanation.
Swapon Kumar Biswas versus State, (Death Reference No. 120 of 2008
(On behalf of the Petitioner), (High Court Division affirmed the sentence of death) (The Convict filed Jail Petition No. 15 of 2014 before the Appellate Division. Ahammed Abdullah Khan and others versus the State and others, Criminal Revision No. 1380 of 2021
In this case, the High Court summoned two investigation officers (IOs) of a case filed over the murder of a child in Bogura, asking them to appear before it to place their explanations over allegation of forcibly taking confessional statement from the deceased's brother, also a minor. The case is pending in the High Court Division for hearing.
