Main urban cities including the capital of our country are beset with over-population. Most of the people are tenants living in rented houses. Disputes between the land-lord and tenant are also a common phenomenon. On one hand, some land-lords increase the house-rent arbitrarily, evict the tenant without prior notice. On the other hand, some tenants try to stay without paying rent. We deal with both sides according to House Rent Control Act, 1991. We have served several clients with reliefs in suits for eviction of tenant, recovery of rent arrears and mesne profits.
